An elegant traditional set of six painted velvet dining chairs made in the style of French Louis XVI. The chairs feature a hand-molded frame with an oval-shaped medallion back finished in a light creamy antique white lacquer with a naturally aged patina with some distressed areas. The chairs are upholstered in hand-cut mustard yellow color velvet fabric, clean-finished with brass tack nailhead trim. The seats are supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for Louis XVI chairs. The front legs are also decorated with carved rosettes on the corners. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French silhouette and beautiful color combination.
