A traditional set of six painted dining chairs made in the style of French Louis XVI/Marie Antoinette. The chairs feature a hand-molded frame with a square-shaped back finished in antique white lacquer with a naturally aged patina with some distressed areas. The chairs have been newly upholstered in embroidered red color Toile de Jouy silk fabric clean-finished with nailhead trim. The seats are supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for Louis XVI chairs. The front legs are also decorated with carved rosettes on the corners. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French silhouette and beautiful color combination.
