Antique Country French Louis XIII Style Provincial Oak Writing Desk

 Early 20th-century country French provincial writing table, library table, or desk in the style of French Louis XIII crafted from solid oak. Constructed with rectangular top with framed planks having exposed wooden pegs. The top showcases a naturally aged patina on the wood finish with natural splits and rich oak grains having a beveled edge. The table has one spacious central storage drawer with dovetail joinery. The top lays on thick barley twist legs and a stretcher conjoined with a trestle and wooden pegs. The legs sit on thick bun feet. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship and a Classic Louis XIII provincial profile. The apron clearance measures 23.5" from the floor to the apron.

- Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with age-appropriate wear. Aged, rustic patina on the finish as seen in photos. Natural age splits in the wood.
