Monumental late-19th-century French Napoleon III coffee table from Provence, France. The table features a 1.75-inch thick rectangular green Verde Alpi marble from Italy showcasing a rich color and beautiful grain with white accents. The thick marble top sits on an intricately hand-carved giltwood base with floral motifs showcasing a naturally aged patina with some faded areas. The base is conjoined by a large stretcher with a carved urn in the middle. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a Traditional French Napoleon III profile. The marble top weighs over 350 lbs.
