Mid 19th Century Country French Farmhouse Monastery Style Oak Trestle Dining Table

Rustic mid-19th century French monastery-style farm trestle dining table. Entirely hand-crafted from solid European Oak featuring a 2.25-inches thick 5.9-feet long rectangular top. The top is made of one solid slab of oak with rounded corners showcasing a naturally aged warm patina full of character. The thick top sits on hand-carved large pedestal supports ending with shoe feet. The pedestal legs are conjoined by a long chamfered stretcher constructed with exposed wooden dowels. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a traditional European monastery style profile with excellent proportions.

- Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with age-appropriate wear and natural warping. Aged, rustic patina on the finish as seen in photos. Natural age splits in the wood.
