The 19th Century Country French Louis XV Style Walnut Buffet Cabinet is a stunning piece that captures the essence of grandeur in the style of Louis XV. This gorgeous buffet or cabinet is expertly crafted from solid walnut, showcasing a naturally aged patina on the wood finish with a rich brown color. The cabinet features two storage drawers constructed with dovetail joins, adorned with inlay work, and is fronted by two beautifully carved symmetrical doors with original escutcheon hardware and metal hinges. The doors have a functioning lock mechanism, accompanied by one key. Opening the doors reveals a spacious storage space with a single shelf. The cabinet is elegantly raised on hand-carved scroll toes, characteristic of the Louis XV style. With solid construction, excellent joinery, and craftsmanship, this buffet cabinet exudes stability and quality, while maintaining a classic French provincial profile.
