19th-century country French provincial writing desk or library table in the style of Louis Philippe. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid walnut constructed with 4.7 feet long rectangular top having a beveled edge. The top is covered with a tangerine color leather decorated with gold leaf trim. The leather top showcases a naturally aged patina with some distressed areas. The case is fronted by three storage drawers with brass pulls constructed with dovetail joints. The table is raised on four hand-carved turned legs. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship and a Classic French provincial profile.
