A fabulous set of 6 French Louis XVI dining chairs hand-crafted from solid walnut. The chairs feature a hand-carved frame with an oval-shaped splat back having decorative floral motifs. The wood showcases naturally aged patina with beautiful walnut grains and rich brown color. The seats of the chairs are upholstered with a hand-weaved cane in intact condition. The seats are supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for Louis XVI chairs. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French Louis XVI provincial silhouette.
