1930s set of five French Art Deco dining chairs, from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid oak and constructed with square backrests featuring a traditional hand-carved floral Art Deco crown. The wood showcases a naturally aged patina with lovely oak grains and rich brown color. The set comes with hand-weaved cane seats with a beveled edge in intact condition. The chairs are raised on hand-carved tapered front legs and saber back legs. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship and a Classic French Art Deco profile.
