An exquisite set of six bentwood gondola dining chairs designed by Otto Prutscher for Michael Thonet in the mid-1920s. These chairs first appeared in Thonet’s 1930s catalog under model A 845. Expertly crafted with a steamed bentwood beech frame, they showcase a naturally aged warm patina. The chairs have been structurally restored and newly upholstered in luxurious dark blue velvet, clean-finished with matching welt trim. Solid and stable, they exhibit excellent joinery and craftsmanship with the classic Thonet profile. Sourced from Provence, France.
