A traditional mid-19th century country French provincial confiturier storage jam cabinet. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid oak wood featuring naturally aged rustic patina on the wood. The cabinet has a rectangular top with rounded front corners and a beveled edge. A spacious storage drawer with hand-carved motifs and iron pull resides under the top. The wood showcases beautiful oak grains and warm honey brown color nourished with a wax finish.The jam cabinet has one hand-molded door with original escutcheons hardware and exterior hinges having a working lock and a key. The cabinet door opens to reveal additional storage space divided by a shelf lined with green felt. Constructed throughout with wooden pegs. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship having a traditional French provincial profile.
