Early 19th century French Louis XV provincial bonnetière cabinet or armoire, from Provence, France. Beautifully hand-crafted from solid oak wood showcasing a naturally aged warm patina with rich oak grains. The cabinet features a rounded molded cornice with carved floral motifs over a single carved door with an original hinge and working lock and key. The interior of the cabinet is lined with Toile de Jouy Fabric and has four shelves. Raised on graceful cabriole legs ending in scrolled French toes, typical for the Louis XV style. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a traditional French Country profile
