Large mid-18th century Country French provincial farmhouse storage chest, from Provence, France. Entirely hand-crafted from solid oak with a rectangular frame and clean and slick profile. The plank top reveals a large storage bin perfect for storing linens and blankets. Constructed with the original wrought iron hinges. The wood showcases a naturally aged rustic patina with blond brown color. Throughout conjoined with exposed wooden dowels. The chest is raised on hand-carved legs at the front and straight legs at the back. Solid and stable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a Traditional French farmhouse profile.
