Gorgeous 19th century French provincial gilded cane bench in the style of Louis XVI. Beautifully hand-crafted with a solid wooden frame decorated with gold leaf showcasing a naturally aged patina with lovely reddish-orange paint peeking through the gold. The frame features intricately hand-carved design details. The bench comes with a hand-weaved cane in intact condition. The seat is supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs decorated with carved rosettes on the corners. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French silhouette.
