An elegant pair of painted armchairs made in the style of French Louis XVI. The chairs feature an oval-shaped medallion back finished in an antique white lacquer with a naturally aged crackle patina. The chairs are upholstered in brown blue color velvet fabric, clean-finished with nailhead trim. The seats are supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for Louis XVI chairs. The front legs are also decorated with carved rosettes on the corners—excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French silhouette and beautiful color combination.
